Lawn Care Tips

Keep your lawn looking its best this summer

  • Water your lawn between 1 and 1 1/2 inches per week. You don’t want to overwater, so put up a rain gauge to determine how much rain has fallen on the lawn and use that as your guide for how much more you need to water manually.
  • Fertilize the lawn only four times each year--fall, summer, spring and just after the first frost and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. However, don’t fertilize in the summer if you are experiencing drought conditions.
